About 150-to-200 people gathered on March 3 at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden to celebrate the Colorado Sherpa Losar. Losar is one of the most significant festivals in Tibetan Buddhism and celebrates a New Year. The event attracted Sherpas from across Colorado, and featured cultural performances, food and a blessing ceremony.
