Fifth annual event features local food and beverage

About 20 local businesses showcased their food and beverages at the Golden Chamber of Commerce’s fifth annual Taste of Golden on March 19 at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden.

“The Taste of Golden is truly a collaborative event,” said Leslie Klane, the chamber’s president and CEO.

Students from the Colorado School of Mines Athletics Department volunteer for the setup and breakdown of the event, and the Golden Chamber’s Ambassadors do the work of recruiting the food and beverage vendors, Klane said.

“The success of this fun event is due to many,” she added, “and enjoyed by all.”
