LWV Book Club Meetings

The League of Women Voters Non-fiction book club will be meeting on Wednesday, October 16 and Saturday, October 19th. The Wednesday session at 1 pm is at the Columbine Library, 7706 W. Bowles, Littleton, 80123, just east of Wadsworth Ave. on the south side of Bowles. Our Saturday session at 9:30 is at Brookdale Meridian Westland, 10695 W. 17th Ave., Lakewood 80215, as usual in the 4th floor meeting room. The alternate reads for October are Say Nothing and/or The Border, stories of the conflict in Northern Ireland. You need not have read the books to attend. Our book selection for November is LikeWar: The Weaponization of Social Media by P.W. Singer and Emerson Brooking. Published in 2018, this eye-opening book, 421 pages long, is an enlightening analysis of the many ways social media is being used and abused today.
