Awash in art in Golden

fter a successful second year, ARTSWEEK GOLDEN, put on by Foothills Art Center in partnership with other local arts-oriented organizations and community partners, celebrated the arts for an entire week from July 8-14.

Throughout the week, people enjoyed public art tours and got to see artists in action during plein air and chalk art events, among others. ARTSWEEK GOLDEN culminated with a two-day nationally juried arts festival that featured more than 100 artists from across the U.S.

“There is a real desire to experience creativity in all forms at every experience level, and we are excited to come together to share the arts with our community,” said Hassan Najjar, the executive director of Foothills Art Center. “Because at the end of the day, the arts make us human, connect us and can unite us all.”
