The Castle Rock Police Department wants to hear about interactions with its officers and professional staff.
CRPD has partnered with CueHit to receive real-time feedback following specific calls for service. CueHit utilizes text messages to ask citizens to take a brief survey about their recent experience with the department.
Among the questions to be asked are:
• Did you call to report a traffic accident and get to chat with a friendly dispatcher? Give them a star rating.
• Did an officer meet your expectations when taking a lost property report? Give them a “high five.”
The current survey is short and asks for a 1 to 5 rating. Residents can also provide any additional comments or feedback. The surveys are not sent between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9 a.m.
“The texts are sent hours following an incident, and the responses can be viewed immediately by the police department,” said Chief Jack Cauley. “We are always striving to build upon the strong relationship we have with our community. This is another tool that will allow us to see areas of improvement but also areas where we’re doing great work and making positive differences.”
