The Rocky Mountain Airshow was Aug. 24-26 at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield. Performers this year included the Rocky Mountain Renegades; Pyro the Jet Truck; Trojan Phlyers; and Kirby Chambliss, a five-time U.S. National Aerobatic Champion and two-time Red Bull Air Race World Champion. Colorado Sport Aviation, a nonprofit organization promoting recreational aviation and raising money for flight-training grants, puts on the annual show.
