Below are proposed projects in the 2016 Jeffco Facilities Master Plan for schools in Golden. Dates are only included where specified by the facilities plan.

Bell Middle School would get a four-classroom addition.

Kyffin Elementary would undergo renovation to become a K-5, with sixth-graders going to Bell Middle School.

Pleasant View Elementary would close. Sixth-grade students would attend Bell Middle School, and remaining enrollment would be split between Shelton and Welchester elementary schools.

Shelton Elementary School would receive a three-classroom addition. The school also would be converted to a K-5, with sixth-graders going to Bell Middle School.

Welchester Elementary woulld also become a K-5, with sixth-graders moving to Bell Middle School.
