Friends and family of Golden High School's class of 2017 filled the school's gymnasium and auditorium to support the graduating Demons at the school's 144th commencement ceremony on May 19.
They shared a lot of great last things together as seniors, said Sabrina Jones during her senior address.
But “the great thing about the last times is that it comes with so many new beginnings,” she said.
History teacher Linda Fabrizio, who will be retiring this year after teaching for 40 years, added during her faculty address that although graduation is a milestone event, teachers and parents believe the graduates will never stop learning.
“Living is learning,” she said. “This is not the end of learning for you — it's just the beginning.”
