How many Jeffco residents are aware that the Virginia State Board of (so-called) Education has proposed a major overhaul on how High School math is taught? Will it be for the worse or the better?
Rather than substituting so-called ‘’math concepts” for rigorous subjects, shouldn’t those concepts be taught at a lower level?
Given that the parents of students in the state’s premier high school are irate re the destruction of its curriculum, and how it will affect their children, might we assume that there is more mischief afoot statewide?
Are these changes being advanced in the name of ‘equity’, to satisfy seemingly ubiquitous mobsters, and damn the students?
How many are aware that California is following suit, and has abolished middle-school advanced math?
Will Jeffco be next?
Is it a tragedy or travesty that ‘equity’ (whatever that word means this week) was reported to be the highest priority contract-item for a handful of Jeffco unionized teachers earlier this month?
