The letter by Mr. Salley in your May 20 edition was so appallingly offensive with so many broad-brush bigotries, it’s impossible in this limited space to refute every ignorant statement. But let me address one point: Our schools are not teaching your kids that they are racist. In truth, the schools are likely to teach them the evidence of racism demonstrated by their parents generation. Your kids will get an earful.
