Gail Wilson, 81, of Lakewood, was last seen on the morning of Halloween. Now police have arrested his youngest daughter and her boyfriend in connection with his disappearance and suspected homicide.

According to a Lakewood PD press release, Ricardo Gonzalez Perez, 35, and Savanah Nicole Wilson, 24, were taken into custody, Nov. 11, without incident, and were being detained at the Jefferson County Jail.

Perez is being held on suspicion of First-Degree Murder. Wilson is being held on suspicion of Accessory to First-Degree Murder.

At the time of his disappearance, Gail Wilson was driving his red, 1997 Ford F-150 pickup. Later that same day, surveillance and traffic cameras captured images of two individuals driving his truck which was then carrying large plastic bags and a piece of rolled up carpet in the bed.

Police believe the bags and carpet may have contained Gail Wilson’s remains.

The truck was located Nov. 5, northwest of I-25 and Colfax in Denver.

Lakewood Police are still searching for Wilson’s body and are concentrating their search in the area between 6th Avenue and Colfax Avenue from Broadway to York Street. They are asking anyone who might have seen anything suspicious to contact their tip line at 303-763-6800.
