“Magic of the Jack O' Lanterns” will be open Thursdays through Sundays in October at Hudson Gardens, 6115 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton. Designed by Thirteenth Floor, a Denver-based entertainment group, it is planned for all ages to walk through and enjoy. Included: 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins. Colorado Wind Ensemble is holding an open audition for one clarinetist. To be conducted by video, received no later than Nov. 1. Prepare a video no longer than five minutes, with lyrical and technical selections. Share by email, Dropbox or YouTube. The CWE rehearses on Tuesday evenings, 7-9:30 p.m. at the King Center, 855 Lawrence Way, Denver. Parking vouchers are provided. The CWE season is five regular concerts and one chamber concert. Hyonjeong Kim Han is the Denver Art Museum's new Joseph de Heer Curator of Asian Art, coming from the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. She is a specialist in East Asian art history. She will highlight objects from the DAM's collection, as well as bring in special exhibitions.
