Snow day for Golden

Posted

Winter made its snowy return to Golden last week as storms at the beginning of the week cancelled meetings and other events. The latter, which also led to a snow day for local schools, blanketed the area with around 6.5 inches of snow according to the National Weather Service. But while many had to spend portions of the day shoveling, others made the most of their powder Friday by getting out to snowshoe along the Clear Creek trail.
