City council will discuss options for the Washington Ave. repaving project on Thursday, Feb.13. Washington Ave. was paved in 1992 and has to be milled and repaved this year. Dan Hartman, public works director, presented to council the repaving would be a prime time to discuss whether they would like to proceed with an option to modify certain areas including narrowing the street and adding 5 feet to the east side public area of Washington Ave. which will allow the conversion of parking areas to flex outdoors use space per the request of business owners.
