Train Heist, Good Guys, Bad Guys and YOU!

Posted by suzanner@madameztravelingmysteryshow.com

Golden's only interactive theater company, Madame Z Traveling Mystery Show, returns again this summer for a rootin’ tootin’ live theater production of ROBBERY AT THE RAILROAD. You're invited to take a ride on the wild side and experience the old west at the Colorado Railroad Museum and this interactive, outdoor experience that includes a ride on a real steam train complete with robbing, gunfights, outlaws, clues and mystery! You’ll need to keep a weathered eye on the horizon for greedy bad guys, but don’t fret, the local Sheriff and Deputy will do their best to keep everyone safe (or at least give it their best shot).

Anneliese Farmer, theater director for The Traveling Mystery Show says interactive theater is actually nothing new, "Shakespeare was all about audience participation! More recently, with the surge in video gaming, role playing games and getting to live in the world you are playing in, interactive theater is the natural progression."

In this 2.5-hour interactive experience you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time as you’re entertained with a live Wild West show. If you come to the show, you’re IN the show! Be prepared to maybe get on stage or land in jail! We recommend 16 and up as there are gunfights and alcohol available on premises. We invite you to dress for the occasion and don your western finest for added fun!! 2 drink tokens come with your ticket price concocted by State 38 and also gives you access into the railroad museum’s activities.

Performances for "Robbery at the Railroad" are on June 1 & 2, July 13 &14 and August 17 &18. Profits from ticket sales goes back to help support the Colorado Railroad Museum.

The Traveling Mystery Show also does the Golden City Pub Crawl Ghost Tours throughout the summer, into October. Go to www.madameztravelingmysteryshow.com for more information or call 303-216-0877
