Arvadans and visitors to the city have a new resource for scouting out holiday happenings this winter, as the Arvada Visitors Center launched the 2021 Arvada Holiday Guide on Nov. 16. The online guide to the city’s festivities can be accessed on the Visitors Center website.

The first item on the guide is the Nov. 27 celebration of Small Business Saturday, which includes the Annual Olde Town Arvada Tree Lighting. The guide features events throughout November and December and includes local favorites such as the Olde Town Holiday Farmers Market, the Olde Town Eggnog and Cider Competition and Saturdays with Santa.

Visitor’s Center Director Jean Gordon said that while her team has attempted endeavors like this in the past, this year’s Holiday Guide is the most thorough.

Gordon added that she hopes folks from Arvada and the surrounding areas will pay the city a visit this holiday season.

“We are so excited to welcome friends near and far to Arvada this holiday season. Our community is so beautiful this time of year — we hope that you have time to visit us and experience it first-hand,” Gordon said.

Gordon said that host of family friendly holiday events can reach her at Jean@visitarvada.org to inquire about getting their event in the guide.

“We have put together a 2021 Arvada Holiday Guide that details all of the wonderful happenings in November and December, as well as a unique-to-Arvada Holiday Shopping Guide. We know many of our small businesses are so appreciative of your support this time of year,” Gordon continued.
