The Board of County Commissioners is looking for volunteers from the community to serve on the newly formed sustainability commission. The commission will be charged with identifying sustainability goals and objectives for county government and industrial, commercial, residential and recreational areas in the county. The commission will also provide expertise, resources and promote awareness in the area of sustainability. Members will serve three-year terms. Since this is a new commission, the initial appointments will be staggered with some only serving one-year terms. The commission will meet a minimum of six times a year.
